NATIONAL PROGRAM

This program is geared towards high school aged athletes that wish to excel in volleyball and compete at the highest level possible.  Some national athletes have hopes of continuing volleyball at the collegiate level.  National teams will practice for 2 hours, 2-3 times a week, and participate in 2-4 day USAV and AAU tournaments in Jacksonville and Orlando.  Athletes will require an AAU membership  (AAU Club Code: WYW5WA) as well as a USAV membership (USAV Club Code: VWood).

 

REGIONAL PROGRAM

This program is geared towards those high school aged athletes who wish to participate in club volleyball and improve their skills for their high school seasons without the extensive time commitment and/or cost. Regional teams will practice for 2 hours, twice a week, and compete in several different 2 day AAU tournaments in Jacksonville and Orlando. Players will require an AAU membership (AAU Club Code: WYW5WA) as well as a  USAV membership (USAV Club Code: VWood).

 

LOCAL PROGRAM

This program is geared towards athletes aged 8-14 who want an introduction to club volleyball without the substantial time commitment and/or cost.  Athletes aged 10-14 may try out for the Regional or National Club teams if those programs are a better fit.  Local teams will practice for 90 minutes, twice a week, and participate in 1 day tournaments in Jacksonville.  The teams will conclude their season with a 2 day tournament in Orlando in May.  Players will require an AAU membership. (AAU Club Code: WYW5WA)

Commitment Girls who wish to play on the National team must be fully committed to attending every practice and all tournaments.  They want to compete and train at the highest level and may have aspirations to play in college. Girls who wish to play for the Regional program want to continue their training and compete in competitive tournaments.  This program is open to athletes being multi-sport athletes and understands that they may have other high school athletic commitments to attend during the club season. The Local program is similar to the Regional program for middle school aged athletes.  They wish to continue learning and elevating their game so they can make their middle school team or move on and make the high school team in the future.  This program is also open to multi-sport athletes.

*If a player is not selected in the top 10 starting spots per team, the player may be selected for one of the
practice squad spots.

*Practice squad player spots will not be offered until the starting positions are filled.

*Financial aid:  Athletes are able to get sponsorships/donations from local businesses, family or friends.  Any donations secured by the athlete will go directly to the athlete.  Payment plans for those in financial need or hardships are also available, but you must contact the Director of VBA prior to the season.  Please contact the Director of VBA with any questions or for the donation letter to give to sponsors.

Indoor Private/Semi-Private/Group Sessions:

Schedule times individually with the Director of VBA.

 

Cost:

$30/hr Private Group (Shared Session for 3+ Athletes) (Shared skill lesson that formulates to the needs of the group)

$50/hr Semi-Private (Shared Session for 2 Athletes) (Shared skill lesson that is individualized to the needs of both athletes)

$60/hr Private (Skill lesson that is individualized to the needs of the athlete.)

*Minimum 4 sessions at a time.

 

Camps:

$60/Athlete for 1 Day Camp

Refund Policy:

Club Director has final say on whether a member of the club will be refunded fees based on disciplinary suspension/expulsion from the club, or failure to follow AAU & USAV Volleyball procedures and rules by a player or a parent. In case of an injury during VBA related practices or competitions, under normal circumstances, a partial or full refund may be given at the discretion of the Club Director. The Club Director will pro rate the fees as he sees fit. Refunds because of injury/illness outside of VBA events will not be granted unless decided by the Club Director. If a player is pulled from training by personal or parental choice, a refund will not be given and payment will be expected in full.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations for private sessions, semi-private sessions, group sessions, camp, and/or registered events requires a minimum of 24 hour cancellation notice or a refund will not be given and payment will be expected in full.

Late Registration Policy: 

If spots are available for an event after a Registration deadline, you must have approval for entry by the VBA Director and a $10 late fee will be assessed.
