Coach Looney

Volleywood Beach Academy is proud to introduce Coach Looney. Grace Looney is a native to St. Augustine and currently a sophomore at Flagler College pursuing an Elementary Education degree. Growing up, Grace joined the sport of volleyball at age 10, starting at the former St Augustine Volleyball Association (SAVA). She played through middle school and moved to JJVA, playing on national teams and making the National Championships. Grace started on the Varsity team at St Augustine High School her freshman year and by her sophomore year the team made it to the State Championship tournament finishing second. Grace is currently the assistant JV coach at SAHS and an assistant coach for Old City Volleyball (OCV). She transitioned to beach volleyball in 2015 and has been training with Volleywood Beach Academy. In her free time, Grace enjoys picking up playing time in local beach volleyball tournaments.
