Coach Forgie

Volleywood Beach Academy is proud to introduce Coach Forgie. Danielle Forgie grew up in St. Augustine and started playing volleyball for her middle school volleyball team and then went on to play for her high school team. She started playing beach at the age of 14 out at the local St. Augustine courts. While playing for her high school team she began playing club volleyball at St. Augustine Volleyball Association (SAVA) and later for Jacksonville Junior Volleyball Association (JJVA). She played on the highest team during her club experience- 18 nationals team, along side her teammates that can be found playing at various colleges. During her high school and club experience she gained awards such as MVP for her teams, the All-Conference Award for St. Johns River, and was one of the top 30 liberos in the state of Florida. She went on to attend University of Central Florida and played for their club indoor and beach volleyball teams. Throughout her beach volleyball career she has won several tournaments, and is still playing.
