Coach Cronk

Volleywood Beach Academy is proud to introduce Coach Cronk. Coach Cronk brings a varied background of indoor and beach volleyball experience to the VBA coaching staff. As a former player and coach, she has been involved with the sport of volleyball for 17 years,. For nearly 15 years of which she played for competitive indoor leagues including middle school, high school, club, collegiate, and professional volleyball- both domestically and abroad.

Coach Cronk played at Flagler College for four years and helped lead the team to a conference title, a regional championship, and a Final Four appearance, all in the school’s inaugural year in the Peach Belt Conference. As an outside hitter for the Saints, she was awarded with many accolades along the way, including All-Region and All-Conference honors, and also holds just about every offensive school record. After college, Coach Cronk went on to play at the international Bundesliga level for an indoor team in Austria for two seasons. She was also a member of the inaugural women’s professional indoor team in Florida in 2012.

Captivated by the athleticism, competitiveness, and strategy of beach volleyball, the game quickly became Coach Cronk’s passion as she made the transition from indoor. She has been playing in beach volleyball tournaments at the AAA and Open levels since 2007. In 2012 she was selected to the U26 USA Beach National Training Team and played in the High Performance Championships in Hermosa Beach, CA.

Coach Cronk graduated from Flagler College with majors in Business Administration and Sociology, and a minor in Finance. She is Business Analyst for a local company fighting fraud, waste, and abuse nationwide within government entitlement programs. As a wife and a mother of two she is so thankful to the game for giving her so much. As a VBA coach she hopes to give back to the community by relaying her passion for the sport in a way that impacts her students on and off the sand. Coach Cronk is AAU Coaching Alliance certified.
